I’ve been using these products for a few months now and they have been giving me the most hydrated braidouts. When I first started my blog, I did a post about how I do my braidouts. Since nothing has really changed, this post is just about the products.
To give you some background – I don’t like too defined braidouts, but I still use gel because I believe it is necessary. I need a little definition.
I based my products off the LOC method. LOC – Leave-in conditioner, Oil, and Crème. I have two Leave-in crèmes, but they have very different consistencies. I put the Eco Styler gel on top and detangle the hair with the detangler brush. The one pictured is okay, but I prefer the Denman brush.
- Softee Coconut Oil
- ORS Leave-in Conditioner Crème
- Silk Elements Leave-in Hair Crème
- Eco-Styler Gel – Olive Oil
I prefer my hair to be 100% dry before I take my braids down. It usually takes 2 days to be that dry. In the meantime, I love to wear hair scarfs while it bakes. If your hair takes long to dry, this a good way to still look put together.
